French intelligence agency DGSI to replace Palantir’s data analysis software and systems with privately owned French company Chapsvision.

Palantir announced a 3-year renewal of its contract with the agency in December 2025, after 10 years of working for GCSE.

Prime Minister Lecornu said the government was planning to invest E655mn in infrastructure, computing capacity, research, business and industrial sectors in an effort to reclaim France’s digital sovereignty.

All civil servants will gain access to a conversational assistant from domestic firm Mistral AI, with a new public health assistant by end of 2026.

In Sweden, Telia cited emergency services, energy, transport, industry and healthcare as intended beneficiaries of standalone (SA) 5G,

under its Telia Critical IoT venture which has as its core offering network capacity for slicing and provision of low latency, secure communications.

One service SA 5G enables is smart traffic management, and is “optimised for video and data”.

Head of B2B at Telia Sweden Fredrick Stenberg said the product generates an environment for customers to “use new digital solutions in the most critical parts of their operations, without compromising security or control.”

The new offering was created off the back of a joint program with Ericsson, NorthStar 5G, the beneficiary of eU funding and aimed at promoting uptake of the technology in industry.

Telia Critical IoT pilot follows hot on the heels of another initative announced in May, Telia IoT Connect, “a service providing sovereign infrastructure aimed at companies requiring secure and resilient communications while keeping all data in Sweden”
